Dukkah (pronounced doo-kah) is a traditional Egyptian condiment consisting of a coarse, crunchy blend of toasted nuts, seeds, and spices. The name is derived from the Arabic word meaning “to pound” or “to crush,” which describes its traditional preparation method using a mortar and pestle. Made by Eileen Pearson in her Plant Based kitchen in Hoekwil from conventional ingredients, for now.
