At Aanvoor Farm in Dieprivier near Hoekwil, the Uys family raises Hamel lamb on organically managed oats & rye pasture. The animals also graze on kikuyu & bossies. Hamel lambs are castrated males, resulting in tender, beautifully marbled meat without any gaminess.
